Simone Chnarakis (she/her/they) is a 21-year-old Black woman and photographer born and raised in East Vancouver. Her work focuses on documenting Black communities, the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as the growing ballroom scene in the city. She is passionate about capturing raw, honest moments that reflect identity, culture, and care, through her work. She will be the cinematographer and co-director of this project.

Corus is an Indigenous artist from Kitasoo Xai’xais Nation in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest of British Columbia.

Drawing inspiration from nature, Corus creates meditative neo-soul music that resonates with the rhythms of the earth. Their art is a reflection of the profound connection they feel to their ancestral lands — blending soulful melodies with the natural harmonies of the universe.
Corus also captures the magic of this connection through photography and videography that celebrate the spirit of Mother Earth.
Through their art, Corus aims to unite all living beings, fostering a sense of collective prosperity, healing, and growth.

Ben Mouland is a filmmaker and video engineer based in Vancouver. Originally from New York City and raised in Montreal, he moved to the west coast to study Film Production at the University of British Columbia. As a director his films can be described as living in the soft static between memory and moment, crafting works that disarm through simplicity and flawed human presence. Outside of directing, Ben experiments boldly with analog filmmaking, embracing its limitations to create inventive, offbeat work.

Ronnie Cheng is a queer Hong Konger interdisciplinary artist with a focus on lens-based art, animation, new media art, and creative writing. Ronnie’s interest in the arts stems from a love for people, and thus, from values of community care and radical kindness. Thematically, their work often revolves around Hong Kong culture, queerness, the diasporic experience, and the fragility of memory. Ronnie has had films screened at festivals internationally, had gallery work exhibited across Western Canada, and is currently working on all sorts of independent media art endeavours, as well as projection design for theatre.

Andie Lloyd is a queer interdisciplinary artist and community advocate, raised and living on unceded Qayqayt territories. She works mostly as a lighting & video designer for live performance, as well as a digital platform & livestream consultant, visual artist, writer, media artist and VJ. Andie is a co-founder of HK House 香港屋 (@hkhouseofficial), a Metro Vancouver based non-profit dedicated to the love and preservation of Hong Kong culture. She is most known for her dynamic multilingual surtitling work for theatre, and hopes to also be known for her love for the community. She's fluent in Mandarin, Spanish and hopefully Cantonese soon!

Amélia is a French-Canadian filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist based in so-called Vancouver. They have written and directed short films, amongst other visual art (traditional and digital) and short-form theatre projects. In their practice, Amélia explores themes of queerness, linguistic identity and interpersonal conflict through metaphors based in memory, nostalgia and the fantastical. They have been a hip hop dancer for many years and is excited to combine this passion with filmmaking and their beginner mahjong skills!

Kristen ‘KatchFlow’ (she/her) is a multifaceted Barbadian-Canadian artist, dancer, choreographer, and educator specializing in various street and social dance styles. She uses movement as a powerful tool for self-expression and cultural exchange, sharing her knowledge with diverse communities of all ages. As she takes on more creative direction roles, KatchFlow continues to expand her artistic practice while staying rooted in cultural integrity and exploration. Her work is driven by a commitment to growth, connection, and representation through dance and education.

Vincy (they) is a Chinese Canadian non-binary lesbian disabled award-winning cartoonist, multimedia illustrator, and workshop programmer. Blurring the line between memories, the subconscious, and day to day actions, they create dreamy worlds which we are invited into for an intimate heart to heart conversation. Striving for community care and connection for survivors by a fellow survivor, growing and learning to love and accept the love given to them wholeheartedly.

karmella benedito de barros is 2spirit Afro-Brazilian & Nêhiyawak/mixed-settler, and a member of the Mistawasis First Nation (treaty 6). they are an interdisciplinary artist, organizer and co-founder or the art ecoststem collective. born and raised as an uninvited guest on stolen & unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) territories, karmella’s experimental practice is informed by the land, seasonality, preservation and tending relations. their experimental film practice leans towards a process of witnessing and conjuring collective felt sense through mixed-media storytelling.

the laws of this land
An explorative land acknowledgement, grounded as a soundscape and storytelling piece featuring Tiffany Joseph of the Sḵx̱wu7mesh (Fresh Water people) and W̱SÁNEĆ (Saltwater people, Emerging people). This piece takes place on the unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔ peoples at Mahon park, where both Tiffany and the film's director (karmella) grew up climbing trees and running around by the creek.

Bona Lee is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada. A musician and lover of all art mediums, she is passionate about artistic creations exploring the human experience. At 14, Bona founded ONEUL ZINE, an arts magazine and media platform that went on to publish multiple issues and collaborate with artists worldwide. Additionally, Bona’s passion for artistic exploration led to her debut short film, “PULSE,” premiering through FORM's 2023 Mini Commissions Program, and later her subsequent selection for FORM’s 2024 Artistic Committee. During 2025-2026, Bona also served as the Co-President of ToThe9s McMaster, a fashion magazine based at McMaster University.

An uncertain girl spirals into a frenzy trying to curate the perfect outfit for an unknown event, hoping to impress the person who invites her.

Trey Denzyl is a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, movement, and design, using storytelling to explore culture, identity, and heritage. Born in Canada and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, his work is shaped by the intersection of his Caribbean roots and Canadian experience. As a dancer rooted in hip hop and street dance culture, he is deeply interested in the historical and spiritual origins of movement and its connections to Afro-Caribbean traditions. Through film, photography, and performance, Trey examines themes of belonging, cultural memory, and authenticity, creating work that seeks to reconnect with heritage while navigating the complexities of contemporary culture.

A mixed-media dance film exploring how Afro-Caribbean movement traditions evolved into hip hop culture, and what is lost when culture becomes content.

Mara Dupas is a multidisciplinary artist of Martinican and French origin. His practice explores writing, dance, choreographic creation and movement advice on the unceded territory of Tio'tia:ke / Mooniyang (colonially known as Montreal). Through an intimate, critical and sensory approach, they explore the links between body, memory and narrative. His creations are rooted in Afro-descendant and queer experiences, drawing inspiration from archives and popular culture.

0.3mL explores transness and metamorphosis as unstable, ongoing negotiations between politics, body, voice, and desire by engaging with music and poetry as sites where identity is constantly reshaped.

Naomi Watkins is a 2S Secwépemc interdisciplinary artist from Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc (Kamloops) and is based on the unceded ancestral territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, also known as Vancouver, BC. Through peripatetic methods, Naomi reflects on how personal and ancestral displacement and reconnection shapes our relationships to place, aiming to create spaces of belonging.

Naomi holds an MFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and their work has been exhibited at The Polygon Gallery, Museum of Vancouver and has an upcoming solo show at Grunt Gallery in September, 2026.

Huncho, aka Aabhaansh Bhatnagar, is a performer and creative artist from Surrey, British Columbia. He represented Canada as a member of Team Canada, winning gold at the 2024 IDO World Hip Hop Championship on the international stage. He toured as a dancer with Karan Aujla in 2026 across multiple Canadian cities and has appeared in music videos and live productions. Huncho is also a hip-hop instructor at LDA and Street Kings , mentoring young dancers and supporting his local community. Additionally, He is also a prominent member of the freestyle scene, participating and battling frequently at events across the Lower Mainland. He continues to grow and expand himself as an artist and a creative.

An overachieving student from a small city battles the various complications and build-up of life… until she reaches her point of release.

Kingston Chan is an emerging artist based in Vancouver, BC. Her creative work experiments with a variety of art forms. As an actor, she has appeared in commercials, TV, short films, and feature-length movies. She is a street dancer having performed at live events such as the Main Event and VSDF. As Kingston enters her last year of high school, she is looking forward to directing an original short film to be featured in the FORM mini commission program.
