Get Your Money:
Tools for Grant-Writing in Late-Stage Capitalism

Supported by SFU Live

Saturday November 7 | 4:00-6:00 PM | Doors: 3:45 PM

Location: SFU - Room 2205
Facilitated by Kait ramsden

Sometimes grant writing can feel like a secret language, deeply coded and steeped in inaccessible bureaucratic hell (on purpose). This workshop will decode that language and give you practical tips, tools, and strategies to become a successful grant writer

We'll cover all your funding bases: how to tell a compelling story, create a realistic timeline, and present an effective budget. Until we all have Universal Basic Income, we need to arm ourselves with strategies to get paid for our work, keep making our art, and pay our collaborators fairly!
