Help FORM raise $3750 to commission 1 Youth-made Film by December 31st, 2026! 

Since FORM’s inception, our Commissioning Fund Program (CFP) has been the beating heart of our festival, serving as a launch pad into professional artistic practice for Youth and Emerging artists.  The CFP provides a platform for artists to experiment, develop their creative skills, and build their networks within the movement-on-screen medium. For many artists, our program is the first time they have had access to funding and the opportunity to have their work shared in a festival context.

That being said, due to the ongoing precarities of funding in the Canadian arts sector, our CFP has also been the program that’s been the most difficult to fund. So now we’re turning to our community for support!

This money will go directly into the hands of one Youth artist to create a new movement-on-screen work to premiere at our 2027 festival! With the help of YOU and our amazing staff and partners, FORM will be providing the selected Youth artist with a $3750 fund, equipment resources, skill-building workshops, and one-on-one mentorship. All $3+ will receive an official tax receipt!

Recorded Movement Society is a recognized charitable organization (#791455710RR0001)! Every donation made through CanadaHelps will receive an official tax receipt, and every donation of $25 or more made via e-transfer will also receive an official tax receipt.
